“I appreciated the front office feedback when we ran into referral issues. Rachel is phenomenal!
Couldn’t ask for anyone better! A knows when it is a speech day and B gets excited and starts jabbering as soon as we walk in the door each day!”
I cannot say enough positive things about Speech Swallowing and Voice Center. Each staff members knows my son by name and greets us like an old friend every time we step into the office.
They are accommodating
to our schedule and are always on time for appointments. The amount of progress my son has made is tremendous with all thanks to Ms. Staci. Her knowledge, understanding, and ability to guide & teach her
patients is amazing to witness.
Simply put, I highly recommend Speech Swallowing and Voice Center!
“Our dinner table is no longer a battle ground. It was always a fight, ending in vomit and tears to try anything outside his select food group. We all can eat the same meal and as a family of 6 it has healed our mealtimes together.
We don't have to pick restaurants around his selection of foods anymore because he has learned from SSV to have a bigger food selection and not be so fearful of something new.”
“Micah used to be a very big problem feeder and now he is seeming to be a typical picky kid eater. He would gag at the sight of vegetables,
all of them.
Now he will at least try them and eat most of them. He does not love them but at least I can get him to get them in his body for nourishment.”
“Both boys have improved tremendously on their eating, which not only includes what they eat but the chewing and swallowing as well. They are both able to express themselves better.
Our audible and understandable
word count has improved.
A is putting more words together in a sentence,
while B is imitating sounds and other words!”
“It has changed our family, no more tears at dinner and frustration over foods.
It's exhausting as a mother to be a short-order cook at every meal. I always wondered how I could manage to get 3/4 kids to eat what was for dinner even if it wasn't a favorite we ate it, except the one.
This has changed since SSVC and I am forever grateful.”
“Many parents with children who are "picky eaters"; think it is something out of their power to help them with.
Rachel helps us feel empowered and like this is a problem we can tackle together.”
