Susan Kennedy is a Certified and licensed speech language pathologist in the state of Kansas. Her background is in the acute care setting with emphasis in the neuro population. Susan was instrumental in developing the trach program in a large hospital setting. She has eighteen years of experience in completing evaluations, implementing treatment plans and carrying out therapy for dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, cognition, and modified barium swallows. She received training at Wake Forest for FEES (Flexibile Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing). Susan and Delane were responsible for bringing the portable FEES to the Wichita area and presented on this topic at the 2012 KSHA convention. Susan was trained in St. Louis through ATOS for completing TEP changes for Laryngectomees. Susan is Vital Stim certified to do specialized NMES dysphagia therapy. She has certification in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment for Parkinsons patients as well as eLOUD for distance therapy using the internet. Susan graduated from Kansas State University in 1992 with Bachelor of Science degree and then Fort Hays State University in 1994 with Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology.
Delane Huett is a Certified and licensed speech language pathologist in the state of Kansas. She has seventeen years of experience servicing patients in the areas of acute care, rehab, skilled nursing, home health and outpatients. Delane has worked with children as well as adults in need of speech therapy services. She has specialized experience and knowledge of swallowing disorders. She was previously responsible for completing Modified Barium Swallows and then received training from Wake Forest in FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing). Susan and Delane were responsible for starting the portable FEES service to the Wichita area and presented on this topic at the 2012 KSHA convention. Delane has certification in Vital Stim for dysphagia therapy. She is experienced with vocal cord dysfunction patients. Delane Huett graduated from Fort Hays State University in 1995 with Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology.
Sophia Johnson, MA, CCC-SLP, is a new and upcoming certified and licensed speech language pathologist who has worked with children and adults of various ages and speech disorders for 1year. She enjoys helping children find their own individualities and strengths through speech and learning and excels in making children smile. Sophia graduated with a bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders , and a Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Wichita State University.


Melissa Vagts, MSP, CCC-SLP, is a certified and licensed pediatric speech language pathologist who has worked with children of various ages and speech disorders for 17 years. Melissa has worked in outpatient pediatric therapy settings as well as in the public schools alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and ABA therapists in South Carolina and Kansas. She enjoys working together with families to provide the best therapy techniques and strategies to help their child blossom and succeed. Melissa’s expertise and interests include but are not limited to; developmental delay, autism, apraxia, social pragmatic language, and behavior modification. She enjoys mentoring future SLP’s and has supervised many graduate students. Melissa graduated with a Master’s of Speech Pathology degree from The University of South Carolina in 1998.
